Water, Not Blood

Every small town has it's secrets, every family has the side the don't talk about, and every childhood is a bit tainted. g\Growing up, it was drilled into my head that blood was thicker than water. Loyalty was placed on the highest pedestal and family was a bond that could never be severed in my father's book. at some point in my life, I realized that his book didn't have to be my book. A decade has past since I was freed from those bindings and the hand that once controlled me. now it's time to write my own story and sort out the darkest memories from within me.
