Rose Summers is your typical nerd. Baggy clothes, ratty hair, a 4.0 GPA and her worn out black Vans she wears everyday. She's awkward but is at the top of the social ladder. The only reason is because she is dating the school's most popular jock, Leon Jordan, and she is best friends with Katrina Mendes, who is is at the very top of the social ladder and, not to mention, she is the school slut.
He's hot, dreamy and everything thing you want in a boy. EVERY girl wants him. So the question that is on everyone's minds is, why is he dating Rose? Well, she is beautiful, but, only on the inside, or so they thought.
They are hopelessly in love even though she knows that he is a player and has cheated and played many girls.
Jake Anderson, school bad boy. Now, like every cliché, he rides a motorcycle, wears a black leather jacket and is undeniably the hottest human you will ever meet. And - surprise, surprise - every girl wants him too. Another thing you should know, is that he is rude beyond belief.
So, what happens when Leon cheats on Rose... again? But this time with her best friend. What if she wants to show him she is better without him? With the help of a certain bad boy. They will wreak havoc and become Mr. and Mrs. Guilty.
It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need.
Still.
New chances are for new beginnings, right?
Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life.
Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
