Max Riley is just normal student with a normal life. He is smart, sometimes funny, has a hidden talent, has two bestfriends, has a favorite teacher of course and...two dads, okay nearly normal. Oh and he also has a major crush on Amy Roth since, like forever. She has been the one and only for Max.

Devastated after being turned down and learning Amy has her eyes set for Ian Wyatt, which by the way is the guy Max loathed the most, he goes to the school's pool to release his emotions. Because life loves to play, he crosses paths with Ian there. After that pool encounter, Max starts tearing down and reveal what's under Ian's perfect facade each day and his hatred towards him is fading. It's fading so much it's starting to become...not hatred.
