Seventeen years old Sam Adams doesn't do well with people. He prefers staying home on the weekends and staying away from parties. He has only one friend- and that's his older sister, who is now off to college, leaving Sam to spend his days at home with his mom and his painting. I feel something slam into me, knocking the breath from my lungs. Only it is not the car that hits me; it is a person. He takes the brunt of the fall, rolling under me so that my face does not brush the street, but the force of the impact knocks me out of his arms and I skid across the asphalt into the grass. The car speeds past, flying down the road before disappearing on a turn. I wait in agony until my lungs finally work, and then I roll onto my back and gasp for air. "Are you okay?" Liam's voice is frantic as he crawls toward me. He cups my face in his hands and checks my body for injuries. This time I know I am not imagining things. There are dark wings coming out of his back. As the title states this is just another wing-fic. Peter has black wings. He has hidden them since he was a child, due to the shame and fear from the memory of hate crimes done against ravens-of the genocide that happened world wide in attempt to kill what was already a small group.
