My life changed forever the day I found him, half dead, and covered in horrifying old and new scars alike; the winged man. He was so beaten and terrified... I couldn't just leave him there, so...I took him home with me. I did my best to coax him out of his shell, but I think there's something he's not telling me, something besides what happened to him... Why was he trapped when I found him? Why can he hardly speak? Why was he so scared of people? He was so scarred I swore he might have been tortured... How did he get those scars? Who did this to him? What could they do to me; what WOULD they do to me if they found out how close Raven and I are getting? [BxB] Life was pretty average for Culver Fleet, an 18-year-old certified couch potato slash pothead. He has spent every waking breath dodging responsibilities, until one fateful day he is swooped by a magpie and is... changed. He thought he just caught the bird flu, but then he started growing wings, like a budget avian Spiderman. Birdman? No. Birdboy. Well, at least until he and his friends actually agree on a real hero name. --- Culver Fleet is your average 18-year-old boy, who goes to university when he feels like it, which is essentially never. His days are spent lounging on his couch with his laptop on his stomach, sharing a joint with friends or dodging life's responsibilities. He does nothing and is nothing, but he has no problem with that. In fact, he enjoys it. No expectations, no responsibilities, no worries. But that all ends when Culver gets swooped by a magpie on a seemingly mundane trip to pick up some weed. A scratch and a peck, and suddenly he's growing wings and other avian attributes. And what's a boy supposed to do when he's suddenly a budget avian Spiderman and there are plenty of bad people causing havoc in the world? Well, be a superhero, of course. Just Another Wing-Fic
As the title states this is just another wing-fic. Peter has black wings. He has hidden them since he was a child, due to the shame and fear from the memory of hate crimes done against ravens-of the genocide that happened world wide in attempt to kill what was already a small group. Even the Wingless were more accepted than Ravens ever were. So when it comes to Peter having to show his wings, things get a little crazy.
