There are monsters out there.

16-year-old Gemma Armistead has grown up in Maris her whole life, thriving amongst the strange and unusual. Since she was small, she's been training to hunt in the Ancient Forest, and even after her father's death, she still continues to do what she loves. She doesn't know that what she thought was myth is true, not until she meets the human.

When Gael Echeart is thrown into her life, he turns it upside down. He is a human in a community of the inhuman, and Gemma must try to protect him, even if it endangers herself. But when things seem to take a horrible turn, Gemma finds she must fight to save her nation before it and everything she loves crumbles to dust.

Second Fate

33 parts Ongoing

When she closes her eyes, she still sees him - and she couldn't despise it more. * Nina was a sixteen-year-old party girl when she met and fell for Vine, a friend of her foster sister and a wolf shifter. After a brutal rejection, she tried everything to forget the scarred stranger and save the last of her self-respect - without much effect. Clueless about the reason behind their strange chemistry, she spends the next seven years waiting to learn about fate's design. The shifter Vine has known a fate bond and remembers how its loss has nearly driven him insane. Faced with a second chance, he is determined not to make the same mistakes with Nina; even if he needs to defy fate in order to protect her from the web of guilt and duties he is trapped in. However, a single question changes the path they are on and promises them both a chance to feel alive again - as long as they survive Vine's past, which is coming for them with bared fangs.
