Haley's life runs on chaos. It always has.
Haley isn't her real name. After she decided to try to rob a convenience store with her best friend and eventually gets chased out of town, she meets a strange man named Jack Mais. He's the leader of an underground organization called MAIS that locates, hunts down, and eventually kills criminals. It's a dangerous life, but it's Haley's last and only hope. When Jack offers her a spot in his unity, she begrudgingly accepts, soon having to change her name and even her hair color. MAIS is an erratic and perilous group, but they are a family who protects one another, and that's all Haley needs. But she has a secret.
And when this secret is exposed, the tables are turned when criminals from all around the world begin to target her. Blood, pain, sweat, escape. MAIS is tested to it's extreme limit.
