Maybe I am tired of hiding
Maybe I really do dislike myself
Maybe I am tired.

Maybe I will go out there bold faced.
Maybe I will try and get your attention
Maybe I will wash my hair and put my mask on and wear pretty clothes because maybe I will.

Maybe I will shove everything aside and maybe try and love something, even if it has to be me first.
Maybe I will try and figure out that nothing you or anyone else says, defines me.
Maybe one day I will figure out that that particular thought will never go through your mind ever.
