April en June zijn Laatbloeiers en worden daarom verstoten door de samenleving. Ze proberen te overleven in deze wereld van Verdriet, Angst en Woede.
April hoopt met haar Contributie haar wereld te veranderen. Ze hoopt dat de samenleving haar en haar familie meer gaat accepteren.
June hoopt respect af te dwingen in de gewelddadige verzetsbeweging waar ze lid van is.
