Annabeth gets a call in the middle of the night from Percy. When she answers the phone all she can hear is yelling, snarling, and crashing. Percy is being attacked by Hell-hounds, from Hades( Ruler of the Underworld). He needs her to help him defeat them before things are too late. So as she drives to his house. She sees everything he owns everywhere. She heads upstairs, dagger in hand and sees blood on the walls. She thinks to her self that it must not be Percy's blood. If it is, she must've been too late to save him. If it was she would never forgive herself, and she can't live without him. As she reaches his bedroom, she finds what has brought her thoughts to misery. Is Percy alive? Or has he been destroyed by the Hell-hounds of Hades.
