Killing Her Softly
A Zurena FanFic. One-shot, but really, really long. 2nd person/Zulema's POV (Congratulations, you get to be Zulema)! Set in Season 5. Takes place after New Year's but prior to Maca telling Zulema that she quits. I wrote this to make El Oasis make sense in my own head, because while the Zurena interactions were on point, the story-line was total crap. I'd prefer not to give too much away here, but I understand that people like to know what they are getting themselves into, especially given the length of this work. So I will say this... This is written as a sort of stream-of-consciousness piece that takes a dive into Zulema's psyche as she navigates a meaningful day and reflects on herself and her relationship with Maca. It's written from Zulema's perspective, and truthfully second-person usually isn't my favorite, but it just felt right for this story. So for those of you who find that approach awkward, I hope you will still give it a chance. This is the first fic I have ever written, so feedback is truly appreciated. And since I couldn't get the d@mned Dedication option to work, I will add that here as well- This fic is dedicated to my little fried shrimp who inspired me to write it, encouraged me to publish it, helped me with the Spanish bits, acted as the world's greatest sounding board, and without whom it would not have ever happened. UnderOrange book 11: Second Chance
Taking place during Book 9 yet again, but this time after Chapter 1, Psomí, Stardust, and the others have suddenly been teleported to an AU in the Sundriverse that they thought would stay permanently inactive. Stardust, one of the main characters, realizes immediately what is going on. This is based on a comic I made back in 2016. You may ask: Didn't I do this before with Buckotale? There is a difference between a remake and reboot. According to maddog2020casting.com, a reboot is some new direction from a story or character. A remake is having a story or characters, and remaking it with a different direction than the original. Since it's the 6th year anniversary of this comic I made, I thought "Why not do this to celebrate it?" Plus, I thought it would be good character development. Also, I take a trip down memory lane. If you'd like to see the comic for whatever reason, fair warning: It's pretty bad, but it's good enough that I made the UnderOrange series, which was inspired from this. It's bad and quick. I forgot a few parts, It was the year I started drawing, It's messy, there's no plot, etc; but it was a good start for improving. I don't think I'm ever going to try doing a full comic again, sadly. Her life wasn't easy as anyone have thought. Correction - no one ever thinks about her life anyway, besides her uncle and his wife. Tricia has a father that have been 'torturing' her ever since she was a child and she became an only child. Her mad father hated her but she hated him more than she could hate her own weaknesses. On the other hand, her uncle wanted to be a replacement for her niece on the position of his mad father however he couldn't. (Like it was even possible) True, he had a wife. Sadly, they're in this circumstance that they cannot have a child of their own. As years have been passing her, the harder life was for her. But that doesn't mean that she can't find any happiness on something? And that's something is what she's thanking her dear older sister for. She taught and introduced her to Anime at the age of six. But she noticed that there is this one specific Anime that's making her suspicious. The title of it was Kuroko no Basuke. She doesn't have any idea why or what but ever since discovering that Anime, she started wishing that she's in that Anime, free. Then an unexpected event came. Curiously, God himself let her be transported in that Anime when she had an accident in her school and she tried asking him the reason but he didn't gave any and said that she'll know in the way.
