A story about the Marauders falling in lover, and a revenge plot that ensured it ends in heartache.
Edward and Elizabeth Matthews were the wizarding world's evilest duo. They were notorious for torturing and killing half-bloods and muggle borns and causing havoc in the muggle world. Countless times they threatened the security of the wizarding world by exposing their magical abilities to muggles.
At the beginning of James Potter's sixth year his parents captured the duo and handed them to the Ministry where they were promptly locked in Azkaban, leaving their sixteen year old daughter forced to spend her final years of childhood in an orphanage. Victoria Matthews hated Charles and Dorea Potter but she hated their son more. He had everything she didn't and so she was going to take it away from him
That's why in her sixth year she dropped out of the school she had been shoved in so she could start planning her revenge.
James, oblivious to Victoria's plans, finished his sixth year in high hopes. He was the closest he'd ever been to getting Lily Evans as his girlfriend. His grades were good and his pranks were better. The Marauders were in their prime and he couldn't wait for his seventh year. How naïve of him...

Punks vs Marauders
The marauders may be the most troublesome group of mischief makers in some peoples definition, but they leave out the key adjective. MALE troublemakers. The Punks are the most troublesome female group of mischief makers. Rae is a pureblood, blood betraying, Syltherin who can't stand her prejudice parents. She's definitely the most cunning and is good at planing pranks. She is fierce and fights for her friends when people mock them for being from different houses. Bri is a kind, muggle-born, Hufflepuff who is misunderstood by her muggle parents, but is the glue that keeps the group from getting in too far over their head. Cj is a half-blood, cultured, Ravenclaw whose wizard mother was killed by death eaters and now lives with her muggle father. She is the brains behind each prank. She makes the pranks bigger and badder with each little adjustment. Together the Punks are headed to their final year at Hogwarts, war is beginning, and the future is coming up fast. From first year to seventh year, James Potter and his friends (the Marauders) gather to become the most popular group of boys, all whilst pulling pranks on their peers. As they grow up, some of their friendships fail to maintain platonic and become romantic, even with the most unexpected of people. But with the threat and worry of Lord Voldemort gaining power, the Zion's and Marauders find themselves in tricky situations, where they question their loyalties and priorities. Modern Marauders (Jily fanfic)(Completed)
What I'm doing here is taking the Marauders' (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), Lily Evans', and Severus Snape's tales of Hogwarts and I'm turning them modern because I don't know what it would've been like when they were actually there so... yeah. This is mostly in the point of view of Lily Evans, but I might switch to James every now and then. I'm going to try and focus a lot of the Marauders, of course, and their relationships with Lily.
