When this obvious awkward introvert tries to get a random job she doesn't realize this job will make her work on her worst traits. One being the fact that she hates love, hates talking, hates flirting; yes, her job will make her have to open up to all of these things.
She finds herself behind a computer being paid to be a 'fake girlfriend' to multiple different men/women through texts, voicemails, and appropriate photos. All of which she is told to make sure she keeps her identity as a human concealed.
