Lostkit is born into ThunderClan except there is something that separates her from the rest of her clanmates-she doesn't have a tail. Once a medicine cat apprentice, two strange cats appear and the clans are in danger of the Dark Forest.
A prophecy foretells that Losttail will light the way, destined to protect her clan. But with this prophecy comes the foreshadowing of her destruction by the one enemy she cannot outrun.
Now Losttail must decipher a strange prophecy and learn the truths of the battle that haunts her mentor and clans. But an emotion haunts her because she knows it's wrong.
Can Losttail save the clans and fall in love with a warrior?
