After awhile the speeches started and I dragged Jace out of the reception hall and into a vacant upstairs room. In the room there was an ugly orange couch against off white walls, a computer on a desk with a rolling desk chair. There was a hideous marble carpet. He and I take a seat on the couch without turning the lights on. We sit inaudibly in the dark, with just the moonlight lighting our faces.
"Jace, I wanna ask you something."
"What is it?" He asks, clueless.
"Okay I know that I haven't always been the nicest, and I haven't exactly been there for you but, will you maybe go out with me?"

He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. Everything is cringy and bad about this story, but I decided to complete this book since I got a lot of comments disappointed it was never finished.
