Destiny Farrow is an avid reader and the occasional writer. She has her flaws, but she is the friend someone could hope for. Yet she finds herself the social outcast in Monte Real High and the mere shadow of others.

So it was no surprise she expected her last and senior year to be the just the same- old plain dull just like the last years . But she is in for a surprise.

When she came across “it”, there was nothing special, just an worn out tattered book about World History. But within the faded pages was a hidden story of its own filled with footnotes and scribbles. With only the initials "JD" as clue to its former owner, the mystery and fun begins as she embarks on a journey to self discovery and changes for the better good.

But with JD's identity comes along deep and darker secrets not meant to be revealed and a startling truth of Destiny's identity that will change her life forever. For she is not who she thinks she is. And as they turn out, things are not what they seem to be.
