A century ago, there were actual human beings everywhere. A century ago, 90% of the population wasn't made out of Ambrizes. A century ago, we were made naturally, in the womb of our mothers.

We had 8 billion people now we're down to 2 billion out of which only 5% are human beings.

But that was before the apocalypse wiped us out, leaving the few of us desperate to survive. Desperate to save humanity; Remaking the idea of asexual reproduction.

With the rest of the survivors, we had managed to invent a powerful machine which allowed us to remake "human beings".

I'm Roz and this is my story; A world, without strangers.

Depending on what part of the globe humanity lives on, a percentage of 1 to 6 percent of Neanderthal DNA lies in our genome. In Africa, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander populations can be lower if at all. The point I am making - for modern humans to have any amount of early man genes in them, is proof that small groups of different humans competitively shared their lives - maybe for pure survival. There was a strong reason to live in small groups, but when more work together like hunting, more food could be eaten. The ancient lost civilizations archaeologist are digging up, they too live in small groups for many reasons. As they came together, small groups become tribes. To this very day, humanity has found ways to collect themselves for a better life. This is called, Interpersonal Intelligence - social skills. With the Internet as the leading and alarmingly fast-growing technology, our interpersonal intelligence has grown beyond simple social skills. Yes, many have stated, that we should not use it, but social networking is the aspect of the Internet that has evolved beyond anything in human history. Personal opinions have not altered what is called collective consciousness in today's human race or the technology that is driving it. From https://humaninternet.org/index.html, the process of having the next jump in interpersonal intelligence could be liveware vs hardware. This is called hive mind technology. Forget the novels, television shows, and movies. This is real. This story is fictional as well, but it represents the future of humanity by the teaching of how it all got started in the first place and how we can today evolve into the future of how we can be better social intelligent.

While tortured and held captive as a prisoner of war, she became my reason to keep breathing. The force that fueled my will to fight. To survive. When I woke after the rescue to discover the life I thought I was coming home to was but a figment of my imagination, hallucinations brought about by pain, desperation, and isolation... it nearly broke me. Fifteen years since I first lost her, at last, we have a second chance. Holding her in my arms, finally feeling the warmth of her skin as she melts under my touch, is like a dream. She and her two little girls are now as essential to my existence as the air I breathe. However, just as things start falling into place, the universe steps in, threatening to take it all away. I used to think that choosing her cost me everything I'd ever loved, but now I see that in choosing her and her children, I have the chance to reclaim all that I lost. They are my salvation. My true path to redemption. Which is why I'll leave no stone unturned, why I will scorch this world to the ground if that's what it takes to save them. And when I do, I will fight to convince her once and for all they are meant to be mine, just as I was destined to be theirs. In the Broken Redemption Series, one man's vow to protect the woman he lost becomes a battle between redemption, forgiveness, and the kind of love that refuses to let go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is Book 3 of Lucas & Emilia's Broken Redemption arc, the emotional conclusion to their story. *COMPLETED* When Rosie turned thirty-one with nothing to show for it, she panicked. Suddenly it felt like her biological clock was ticking, but she didn't want to settle for a man for the sake of having a child. So, after falling down a rabbit hole of research online, she decided to find herself a sperm donor. A strangely vague profile ends up catching her interest. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Rosie locked herself away in Finches tower block, stocked up on supplies from abandoned neighbouring flats, and lived every day with the sole purpose of keeping her daughter alive. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. And he was there to save them. -- When a bioweapon was released on UK soil, Staff Sergeant Levi James Brackley was sent from pillar to post in an attempt to help neutralise and contain. Once it was clear neither was possible the last resort was to form a safe zone on the Isle of Wight. Levi decided to stay behind. The last evac chopper left without him on board. He knew it was a shot in the dark, that they were probably dead already, but he had to try. Without knowing it, they'd become a beacon of light during the darkest time of his life. Now it was his turn to be there's.

My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

"𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝗼 𝐚𝗺 𝐈? 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝗼𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝗺?" In the depths of the underground was a girl. She was a experiment gone wrong some would say. She was once known as just a number. Another one of their experiments but the only thing different about her was she was the success. She had been turned into a 'weapon of battle'. Though no one knew her potential..... Yet. She was abandoned after the MP's caught her captors. She could barely talk, she couldn't read or write. Hell, she could barely understand what other people were saying to her. Levi and Farlan found her walking down the street one day. She was dirty, her hair was matted with blood and dirt. Two teenage boys were kicking her around like a doll. She didn't move or fight back she just sat there, numb to the pain. Levi took her in and taught her many things. One being love. Voilet evergarden inspired. Complete and rewritten as of 2023.
