A century ago, there were actual human beings everywhere. A century ago, 90% of the population wasn't made out of Ambrizes. A century ago, we were made naturally, in the womb of our mothers.

We had 8 billion people now we're down to 2 billion out of which only 5% are human beings.

But that was before the apocalypse wiped us out, leaving the few of us desperate to survive. Desperate to save humanity; Remaking the idea of asexual reproduction.

With the rest of the survivors, we had managed to invent a powerful machine which allowed us to remake "human beings".

Everyone's definition of normality is different, making it humanly impossible for anyone to ever accomplish the craved label of "normal". Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. Having to steal valuables for him all while taking care of two kids, Kai and Mary, was really hard. The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

In Africa, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander populations can be lower if at all. The point I am making - for modern humans to have any amount of early man genes in them, is proof that small groups of different humans competitively shared their lives - maybe for pure survival. There was a strong reason to live in small groups, but when more work together like hunting, more food could be eaten. The ancient lost civilizations archaeologist are digging up, they too live in small groups for many reasons. As they came together, small groups become tribes. To this very day, humanity has found ways to collect themselves for a better life. This is called, Interpersonal Intelligence - social skills. With the Internet as the leading and alarmingly fast-growing technology, our interpersonal intelligence has grown beyond simple social skills. Yes, many have stated, that we should not use it, but social networking is the aspect of the Internet that has evolved beyond anything in human history. Personal opinions have not altered what is called collective consciousness in today's human race or the technology that is driving it. Forget the novels, television shows, and movies. This is real. Human beings have evolved to use more than 10% of their brain, and as an effect, possess supernatural powers. Luna and Lara Valkyrie grew up in a foster home in the town of Westhaven, California. Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. Westhaven is a lovely town, the perfect place to live the american dream in. There is only one problem. Not only there, but in almost every place in the world, human beings are branded with a number, that being the amount of supernatural abilities they possess. By the time each child reaches the age of 18, that number becomes permanent, and everyone with a ranking above 5 is taken away. From that moment on, they belong to the government, and must train in government facilities that are a lot like prisons or army bases. Their eyes are changed by machines, and they are identified for the bright aura-like color that surrounds their pupils and contrasts against their natural eye color, "the sunflower effect". The day of the chosen has come, and Luna Valkyrie is a seven. When she is taken by government guards, she believes her life is over.
