I have a confession to make: I'm not a big Harry Potter fan. Oh, I read and enjoyed all the books (maybe except for Book 5), and watched all the movies (still think the 3rd was the best), but every time the story would try to present itself as being a worldwide magical conflict, I'd have to battle an urge to sigh. I just didn't see a lot of non-Western magical types/motifs represented in the Harry Potter world. As for specifically Philippine magic, yeah... no. While that's hardly surprising, that kind of thing still keeps me from truly immersing myself in that world, even if I found aspects of it very inviting, because it felt like a world that has no place for people from my neck of the woods. And that's a shame, because there's a rich diversity of magical practices in the Philippines.
So I've always thought about what a Philippine magical school might be like, one which used and taught magic in a way that magic has appeared in our culture, our old stories and urban legends. When I was asked to contribute to the first issue of LONTAR (https://lontarjournal.com/), I realized I didn't want to submit a story. What I wanted to do was imagine that Philippine school of magic, and in providing a list of courses that are taught within its hypothetical halls, give some insight into our own traditions of magic. It was a... much more daunting task than I'd originally anticipated, and in no way does the list I created even scratch the surface of the myriad magical traditions, ancient and modern, found in these islands. But it's a start.

"You sure you want to be a magician?" ask an old woman to a boy. "yes Granny Ren. I will be the greatest magician of all Melloyern." He said enthusiastically as the Granny softly caress his small and smooth hand. The boy then ran to his friends as one of them calling him to play football. Writer: " good. get back to work." 13 Land Under Holy Crystal Blessing, as the name suggest, It was about a holy crystal that blessed a land. like a mainland or somesort. So... Writer: "is that really the right way to make a description?" Nakajima: *sigh* There is a mainland with 13 state under a flag named Melloyern. These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide. Can they achieve what they aim for? It's always up to them to decide their own future. Nakajima: "Satisfied?" Writer: *Claps his hands many time* "Very much." Nakajima: " Can I keep daydreaming?" Freaks: Year Two
*This series in the process of being rewritten.* Harry was, to put it mildly, nervous when he was asked to tutor a student from Professor Slughorn in History Of Magic, but he had tried to keep positive. "I'm your History Of Magic tutor." Harry told the Slytherin boy, sitting down cautiously. The boy nodded and sat down nervously. "My name is Alabaster Jackson." Oh. Jackson. Of course, out of all the students - out of all the Slytherins he would be asked to tutor, it would have to be the person who was related to Theodore Jackson. With their first year complete, Jasper Odair and Harry Warbeck head home with the idea that summer would go well. Harry was back home with his parents, and Jasper...well he finally felt confident that he had a solution to his not-so-great home life. Things were looking up, and the second year couldn't be too bad, right? With the excitement of the American school Ilvermorny visiting for an All-Star Quidditch game, things couldn't go too horribly, right? Well, that was until the two of them both found themselves in a situation with a Slytherin; a Slytherin named Alabaster Jackson who was finally allowed to explore the world around him. To him, that was supposed to be exciting, but all he felt was anxiety and confusion. His parents couldn't be involved with a man who was a killer, right? Under normal circumstances, nothing would be wrong, just would have trouble controlling extra powers. But the Night Bringers of the continent weren't open to hybrids in their species. That fact caused Luna so much pressure and stress to hide and cost her a spot at her dream school. But then comes the faithful day when she is revealed to be a part of a prophecy of her and five other magets that would stop the war. (A prophecy Luna had first, but that's beside the point) She and the other five are then thrust into a plot of conspiracy, secrets, and death, surrounded by people they don't know if they can trust or not. The pressure for Luna is only amplified by the added factor of might not being able to survive. Is this really how it's supposed to go? Is Luna going through all of this pressure for a good reason? Or are there factors she hasn't even considered? Inspired by Wings of Fire and Upside-down Magic THERE WILL BE BLOOD AND DEPRESSING THEMES! BUT TUI T. Far From the Shallow
(Previous title: "Sunshine - A New Dawn for Remus Lupin") Remus Lupin survived a war, raised a son, and went back to teaching. He wasn't planning to fall in love again-especially not with his new best friend. Mary Scamander is brilliant, warm, and just chaotic enough to keep him on his toes. But grief is complicated, and feelings are messy. Luckily, Teddy has a plan. Or many. (Unfortunately, most of them are disasters.) NOTES: This story is a remake for my fanfiction "A New Dawn". 1. This my lightest fanfic ever, despite it's sad first chapters. 2. Please, bear in mind that English's not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes or errors. 3. I don't usually go against canon. However, the idea of Lupin surviving, even with his spirit appearing to Harry, fits perfectly with the concept of a coma and could have happened. We can fit it into canon. I absolutely adore Tonks with all my heart, but I've had a crush on Remus Lupin ever since I read The Prisoner of Azkaban almost 20 years ago, before seeing the film. Back then, I used to write fanfics (during classes!!! Oops! Even so, I still got good grades! haha) about Remus Lupin and a character entirely inspired by me, called Mary Hallow. In one of those fanfics, set in the Marauders' era and called "Memories of a Marauder Wolf" -which I'm currently trying to rewrite, but it hasn't been easy-I worked through my teenage traumas with the story I wrote. Although nowadays I only read and write 'Remadora' fanfics (Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks), I decided to revisit Mary Hallow to work through my adult traumas (or as I like to say, 'exorcise my demons'). So, even though this Mary Hallow no longer has a certain issue that defined her in my older fanfics, many of the things in the story are-once again-things I personally experienced. Basically, it's just another 'fanfic' to complement my therapy sessions. LOLComplete

Fairy law is my signature move between the three spells. Anyways, back to the main topic which is that I am going to visit an old friend of mine or should I say my past reincarnation. I was never born to be a "Magi" since she's like my past life except she may look different. Now, she seeks my help so I can stop a war at the same time stop a certain organization.
