The tiny modest space of Riverhand held so many memories of ongoing Scottish citizens for decades, full of pensioned men and women who finally planned settling down in small cottages.
Mr. and Mrs. Abbott were one of those people who put their two children, Ezra and Lando, their top priority. Ezra being the eldest sister (ten years difference), held a huge responsibility after her mother's sudden unknown death. She didn't realize the bigger burden and much to the entire villager's surprise, her father decided to return to the army leaving both of his young kids alone.
The loss of Mr. and Mrs. Abbott didn't leave both younger Abbotts a choice than to leave their only home Riverhand and Britain. How will Ezra and Lando survive the unknown, loud, huge, fascinating city of Brooklyn? Who will they meet along their journey? What harm will be caused to the innocent Abbotts?
