A supposedly Muggle girl ventures into a forest on the full moon with her younger sister and they meet a werewolf. Kasia Days takes the werewolf's attention away from her sister and is attacked. After she wakes up in St Mungos, she learns that her uptight mother had disowned her, her neck had such horrible scarring she'd be forced to wear a scarf for the rest of her days and that she was a witch. Adopted by Katie and Oliver Wood and eventually going to Hogwarts, Kasia struggles with her condition and the everyday things.

Strictly canon, new generation, same year as James Sirius Potter and Fred Weasley II, look out for familiar names!
