This is my first Wattpad story! I based this off of Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword"! The story goes from Link's point of view, and since the story in the game is so long, I might skip a few parts, such as side quests and mini-boss fights. If you happen to see an error in my writing, please kindly let me know so I can fix it. I love feedback! Tell me what you like and don't like about the story! I really hope you all enjoy this adventurous tale!

In a far away land very different from ours, an ancient legend has been passed down for eons. This story tells of two teenagers against the forces of evil and an unknown power that will unite all of the lands.... 

Up in the sky, on the floating island of Skyloft, lives a society of people who were saved by the Goddess many lifetimes before. In that society lives Link, a kind boy who is just a little different from the others. When his best friend, Zelda, is put in danger and flees, Link embarks on a journey to the Surface to find her. Many mysteries unfold on this journey through three temples in three lands that test Link's courage, wisdom, and power. Join him on this perilous adventure through unknown lands and hordes of monsters.

Link lives a peaceful life as a ranch hand in Ordon Village. He spends his days herding goats, helping the villagers, playing with the village children, and riding his horse with his friend Ilia. His life is quiet and simple, and that's how he likes it. Then, one day, everything changes. His village is attacked by monsters and his friends are abducted. As he chases after them, Link comes face-to-face with an unnatural black wall stretching across the forest. The next thing he knows, he's in a dungeon, and he's . . . a wolf? Rescued by an imp named Midna, and told of his fate by Zelda, Princess of Hyrule, he is thrust into an adventure against a dark force unlike any that Hyrule has ever seen. He will face countless obstacles and nameless evils, but he knows he has to try. Even still, a lingering doubt gnaws at him even as the dangers of power rear their ugly heads. How can light prevail when the shadows themselves are alive? This is a novelization of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I have taken a few creative liberties in the process of novelization to try and ensure the story flows well and makes sense. Hyrule is in a deep peril... Although Link had gone back in time to warn the Princess of Hyrule about Ganondorf's true plans and what the future holds, it was not enough. A seven year war waged, the Gerudo-Hylian War, which ended with the Gerudo's success. Ganondorf became the new king of Hyrule, alongside his chosen queen, Zelda. The Hero Of Time ceased to exist after he died amongst the soldiers on the battle field. Those who object his rule are sentenced to a death penalty, and with the world becoming more and more unkind after ten long years, people are starting to lose hope. Even Her Majesty has begun to lose faith, that is until she got a closer look in a mysterious fellow (Oo, sooo mysterious~) named Shylo. She believes, with his help and optimism, they will be able to finally destroy The Demon King, Ganondorf. Unfortunately however, there is no one left to wield the master sword... or is there?... (This takes place after Ocarina Of Time) Warning: If you don't like reading long chapters, this book is not for you. Some chapters, of course, may be shorter than others or maybe even average length, but this book does contain various long chapters. Second Warning (the real warning): I am cynical and cruel (so cynical! So cruel!...). She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. Having no further duties as the Master Sword, Fi is reincarnated and given another life as a human. Ghirahim's situation, however, is complicated. He is alive, but not the same. Can he reawaken Fi's memories, and will she forgive him after everything he's done? Even then, how will their lives continue as they are? Elyza looked past her village to the land beyond. She saw the Dueling Peaks. She had never left Necluda. Even Kakariko Village seemed far away. Now, looking at it, it didn't seem so far. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < .
