17 year old, Jack Barakat decides to run away from his father and back to his mother in Baltimore. And on the way he meets and picks up a hitchhiker: 28 year old Alex Gaskarth, who is also headed to Baltimore. In which, the two happen to fall in love and blah blah blah, realizing that age don't matter that kind of thing. (So if you don't like the age difference and it makes you uncomfortable, then I suggest you read something else. Also, death and alcohol, drug, and spousal abuse will be apparent in this as well. So again, if you're uncomfortable with this type of stuff then don't read. Other than that, updates every other day!)

Alex Gaskarth is a nobody. He's just one small speck that walks the world alone and barely makes it by. He's lived off of his parents ever since he graduated, but now that they've moved back to England and left him in Baltimore, he's barely able to pay to put food on the table.
