In Which Cain Saves Abel

In the middle of the Twenty-first century, chaos breaks out in the southern hemisphere of the globe, and nations immerse themselves in biological warfare, fighting one another for dominance. The proud country of Quepol is losing the battle against its rival, Acremon, their medical department not nearly as advanced as their enemy's. With the human population rapidly dying from Acremon's genetically modified virus, only a miracle can save Quepol from its imminent loss. Perhaps a little help from a certain species living in silence and out of sight will do the trick.

Cain is a simple man with a singular goal: fight in the war, defeat the enemies, and go home. As a Vampire, it's not so hard to walk onto the battlefield and survive just about any attack designed to take down Humans. But when he faces the possibility of losing his best friend, the tables turn against him.
