Lost in the Blue
It's almost been a year since the Fourth Great Ninja War ended and things are pretty boring in Konoha. Naruto rarely sees his friends anymore, with Sakura training to become a better medical-nin all the time and Sasuke being confined to his own apartment under constant watch. When interdimensional activity is discovered far, far south, in the middle of the ocean, Kakashi unites the Konoha 11 + Sasuke and sends them off on an adventure to check it out. Having the group back together again is totally weird, but much more exciting than anything else going on. The group travels the seas in search of a new potential villain, while also dealing with the repercussions of the past war. I smile into the kiss, and the shared fear of losing each other slowly dissipates, replaced by raw passion. A few minutes pass, and Sasuke breaks off the kiss, though reluctantly. I sniff and wipe my eyes. "I love you so much," I whisper, reaching up to tuck a strand of raven hair behind his ear. He beams at me, his charcoal eyes glistening in the sheer moonlight.
