All kits start out young and naive, don't they? They can't even begin to imagine the horrors that await them outside the walls of camp: the bloodshed, the heartbreak, the vast unknown. 

Doepaw claims that she'd never shy away from an adventure, that she'd fight tooth and claw for what she believes in, even if she must die for the cause. But that doesn't really seem to be the price for wanting what's right.

No, the price for peace is never one's own life.

This is a fanfiction based upon the Erin Hunter series, "Warriors". This book was something I tinkered with quite a few years ago, when I started reading the Warrior Cats series. Eventually, I gained the confidence to turn it into some sort of story of my own, introducing my cats (in real life) as well as game characters I've made online. I hope whoever reads this story enjoys it! (Apologies if mistakes are made within the book.) Note: This first series takes place in a different version of the Lake territory. Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond.
