Prolouge The undergrowth rustled as the leaves blew by. It was a quiet leafall night. The moon just a silver Sliver casting down into the clearing. Just enough light to see a Small gray cat emerge from From the Brambles. The cat's tail twitched nervously being out in the open . Being careful not to wake the kit swaying in her jaws she sat down and called quietly into the shadows. A moment later two bigger kits appeared with there tails draging in the dirt, barely able too keep their eyes open. They padded over to the she-cat and layed down beside the she-cats feet. she setted down the kit she was carrying and made a small nest around the kits. She licked each of them then turned away, but before she could take a step the smallest kit opened up and let out a quiet shrill wail. The Cat quickly turned around towards nest and licked them on the head again. "It's ok. There's cats here you will be safe with them." Then the the she-cat stood up and shook herself briskly trying to hide her sadness as she walked away. At the edge of the clearing she looked back at the 3 kits squirming in the nest. "You'll be safe."She Whispered to herself Unable to take it she tunred and quickly left.

Fourth Book In the Arc Two of Blood of the Crescent Moon Series They made it under the dragon's shadow, their breaths quick and hearts pounding as they clung to the faint hope that Bloodmoon would never notice them again. But the land around the lake-a once-thriving sanctuary of peace-was in for a reckoning far beyond what any cat could imagine. The scars from the last battle had barely healed, and now, a far greater catastrophe loomed. This time, the forest wasn't facing a simple threat. Fire and ash had already blackened the trees and charred the undergrowth, but what came next was something else entirely. The earth felt alive with unease, the air humming with a dark, crackling energy. Bloodmoon's promise of destruction hung over them like a storm cloud, and the weight of her wrath seemed unbearable. For no one escapes fire, and no one escapes an eclipse. The pale, eerie light cast by the waning sun twisted the shadows, making even the bravest warriors shiver. And this fire wasn't just flames leaping from trees or a blaze consuming the forest-it was fire made flesh. Bloodmoon was destruction incarnate, her scales glinting like molten metal as she prowled, her breath searing the very life out of the air. The forest trembled as though it could sense its doom. The cats could only hope-hope that they could rally together, hope that their bonds would hold strong, hope that they could outlast the storm of chaos that was sure to come. But even as they whispered their prayers to StarClan and steeled themselves for what lay ahead, the truth was undeniable. Survival was not guaranteed. The odds had never been lower. And the eclipse promised that the darkest night was yet to fall.
