Blood gathered in my throat. It was a tiny slit so that only a small amount of blood was pouring out at a time. My hands were chained above me, making me dangle like a sorry pile of nothing. Why was he doing this? What did I do to deserve this? Lucas walked around me and sneered at me.
"God, you're pathetic. And you're to be the next queen?! You're a disgrace!" He grabbed me by my hair and pulled my head up.
"I won't kill you just yet, young one. I'm gonna make sure that even if you do survive, you know who is in charge here.”
He chucked my head forward, and I struggled to recompose.
“W-why?” I couldn’t say anything more and just tried to stay awake to hear his response.
“Because, you stupid girl, you are my competition.You think that just because you make Custodes too, you can walk around here like you own the damned place?! Well I’ll be a pile of hog’s blood if I let you do that, me girl!” He did a blood curling laugh that not only added to my already pounding head, but gave me a chill that make my body collapse.
“Troy!” The scream emptied my body of energy, making me black out.
