Shadowhunters
Two friends, bound as Parabatai in the mystical world of Shadowhunters battle their way through demons, Downworlders and two annoyingly attractive teenage boys. Standing tall and strong in the Ottawa Institute, life seems completely normal (well, as normal as a life dedicated to the slaying of demons can get), until a mysterious father and son join, and shake up the town. Now it's up to Jane and Emma to connect all of the mysterious occurrences around the city, before it's too late. Co-written with Jannell Walton (JHerondale_134)

When a group of young demonhunters are assigned an investigative case by their school teacher, they must track down a rogue paranormal before the consequences spiral out of control. *** In a world hidden from the human eye, a school teaches the art of demon-hunting. Edgar Kelpheart is a student in his final year at Letchworth Academy of Demon-Hunting, up to his eyebrows in lessons, revision, and fighting demons. He spends any free time patrolling the streets of Portsmouth with his parabatai and his other friends, honing their skills for when they can finally become fully fledged members of the Sunder, the demonhunter's council. When the bodies of fairy children start appearing in Portsmouth's dark alleys, Edgar and his friends are assigned the case -- what they don't know is that this is far more complicated than a simple case of a rogue paranormal... A short piece experimenting with many of Cassandra Clare's concepts (so credit to her, of course) and with characters first imagined by @grinchly (so credit to her, too)! 🏆Winner in the Angels, Demons and Nephilim subgenre of The Amby Awards 2022 🥉Third place in the Fanfiction category of The Dream Awards 2022 @TeamOfDreams Currently featured in YAFantasy's Urban Fantasy reading list (Dec 2022)
