"Why do you dance?" Phil asks softly, not tearing his eyes away from the star's that shine above us and I don't know how to answer him. "I don't know, I just do." I reply. Phil turns his head to look at me and sighs, eyes filled with determination "No Dan, why do you dance?" He asks and I look back up at the star littered darkness.
"To forget" I whisper to the stars.
Dan has always danced, it's part of who he is. He danced when he lost his closest friend to suicide, he danced when he asked his crush and friend of several years out. But with his friend's lives falling apart, Phil going through problems of his own and Dan's family life driving him insane, will dance be able to save him now? Or is this the end of the line?
(I won't swear on this cause I don't know, but I hope this story is better than the description)

She could make conversation with anyone, and somehow they'd listen to her. She was a dancer, mainly to let out her emotions. She didn't know what she wanted to do in the future, but every decision she made was for her parents. William Haines was shy. He was quiet, and he hated small talk with random people he had no desire to talk to. He was a boxer, and he was a good one. He was smart, but he was mad at life, he wasn't sure exactly what he wanted to do. But maybe, if they worked together, they could learn more about themselves and help each other out along the way. Phil was also an outcast, but he got along alright in school. Having to live with Phil and Phil's dad who was gone half the time, Dan and Phil get to know each other quite well. They soon bond over many things and Dan realizes he has feelings for Phil. But will Phil feel the same way? Will it work out?
