"When I say let go, I mean let go, you..." Sarah was about to continue, when the laughter of the Alpha rose through the otherwise quiet back yard. Looking up, I saw the tall figure walk through the crowd. "Beth, I see you have met my son Christian. Christian I see you have met Elizabeth LeClair Rose, soon to be Alpha of the Rose Pack." The alpha stated. I heard gasps though the crown, as well as one come from the mate at my feet. "Regretfully," I said letting go of Christian. Dusting invisible dirt off my dress, I gave a smile to the Alpha, Beta, and Anna who had a hand over her mouth to which I assume was to keep from laughing. I walked past Christian and the pack. "Back to the bar I go," I mumbled. This night seemed to be way more trouble than it was worth, in all reality. 'I agree,' Sarah sighed. ----------------------------------------------------- When fate knocks on your door do you answer it or sneak out the back? The past of other is not something you should base your future off of. Elizabeth knows this, but can't help but play a defensive game. The past is something that can haunt you. When you refuse to pt those you love in danger, can you really be considered the evil one? When the sun goes down, battles arise. Will Elizabeth be able to handle her inner demons becoming a reality?

Hi Readers, Before you read this book, I just wanted to say that I am currently in the process of rewriting this story. Changes, whether they are big or small will be applied and things will most likely be cut. I am looking towards making this story more consistent since its not evident in the first draft. I hope that you will continue to support this story nevertheless of the changes made. Kindest Regards, Christine *** Prologue "She's here! We've found her!" The girls parents came racing over to the river bank that separated the two werewolf packs. "She's not breathing! Why isn't she breathing?!" The man pushed the woman out of the way gently and leaned down to check the young girls breathing. He put one hand on the girl's chest and started compression. He checked the girl's breathing again and continued with compression. The girls started to cough up river water. The man pulled her swiftly to her side so that she could expel the rest of the water out through her mouth. "Oh, honey!" the woman gathered the girl up in her arms and squeezed. The girl looked around disorientated. There were strange men and men from her own pack standing around her. "What happened?" She murmured. The woman looked down at her daughter with tears flowing down her face. "You nearly died." *** *Check out the rest of the prologue for more* #1 HigherPower #1 EpicBattles 2# Flames 2# PackMates 36# Power Copyright © All Rights Reserved 2020 NeoNixButterfly21/Christine Copyright © All Rights Reserved 2021 NeoNixButterfly21/Christine Copyright © All Rights Reserved 2022 NeoNixButterfly21/Christine ~ All chapters hereafter are protected by copyright.
