A lighthearted novel that sees the funny side of working in fashion. Humour, Women's fiction, Chicklit, Young aspiring professionals in the city.
Vicky Greentree is obsessed with her idol, Coco Chanel. She dreams of leading a life like Coco's, creating beautiful garments for the catwalk and the spotlight, and immersing herself in the intoxicating world of fashion design. However, the only thing she is immersed in in real life is boredom - stuck making her living as a local dressmaker in the little village of Middleton, in picturesque Hampshire.
The only thing keeping her going, apart from her love of sewing, is her lovely boyfriend, Tim, who does his best to lift her spirits with kisses and the occasional curry. But Tim, a well-meaning IT Support Technician, may not quite understand Vicky's fashion hopes...
She is determined to make her dreams come true, and things change when she moves to London to pursue them amidst the bright lights and excitement of the high fashion world. But the transformation from small town seamstress to big city fashionista turns out to be a harder one than she ever anticipated.
When things get tough, relationships get tested, and it seems like everything will fall apart, but Vicky is still determined to make it through. All she needs is a little faith...

After a difficult first few months working in the Brew Books café, Jane is finally feeling at home - until the past comes back to haunt her.
*****
After months of working at the café and bookstore, Jane has finally started to grow into her independence and stop viewing her self-worth in Instagram likes. But suddenly Harper, the cute bartender Jane feels a spark with, seems to have eyes for someone else. Kitty unleashes a secret from Jane's past that she's not sure she'll be able to get past. And the lingering affects of Matt's absence in the bookstore create a conflict which threatens to tear the entire crew - and business - apart.
