This is a typical clićhed story: the cute, awkward not-popular girl is paired up, by a leap of Fate, with the hot, athletic "it" boy at her high school. They spent time together, the popular boy becomes fond of the innocent girl, and they fall in love. That's exactly what this story is about, right? Wrong. Sure, that happens somewhere along the way, but not in the way you'd expect it. This story is about Scarlett. Scarlett is the school slut: the stunningly beautiful girl that wears revealing clothing and apparently "sleeps around." Scarlett also happens to be dating the hot, athletic "it" boy. You got it, the one who falls in love with the cute nerd. Scarlett's whole life is one clićhe, except for a catch: Scarlett isn't actually a slut. She doesn't sleep around, she hates short skirts, and she does care for her boyfriend. It's all just an act, one that helps her feel protected from her rough past. Being the school slut is Scarlett's own form of protection. Input Oliver Peters: dark, handsome, mysterious. He's the school's resident bad boy- who Scarlett can't stand. What happens when Oliver catches her without her slut mask on? A deal is made, and she somehow becomes his fake girlfriend. But... can fake love turn real? Will Oliver get Scarlett to show her true colors to the world? You'll just have to read and see. So much for the slut façade. *Sorry for the crap description!
