Jess Michael is a "normal" high school senior with simple hopes for the future -- graduate, get a job, and volunteer her nights at a shelter for battered women.

But things get un-simple the day after her 18th birthday when she meets a large, scarred man, who tells her she's The Megidda, a human woman destined to help bring about Armageddon, the Universal reset button.

She's a Daughter of Heaven, one of four meant to aid the Horsemen of the Apocalypse in their bid to protect the very name of God, the one thing in all of Creation capable of bringing Heaven to its knees.

Now, instead of graduating and striking out on her own, she's fleeing for her life from ancient evil, and trying to figure out her new, super-human abilities, abilities that come complete with an inhuman protector: The Horseman of War.
