With every step I feel the adrenaline from my powers pulse through me. My mind was racing, but nothing could beat the speed of the muscles beneath me. My fingertips brushed the back of the car, but then I stopped. I let him get away. I could hear the confused yells of my friends behind me, wondering why I had stopped while I was so close to catching him. I don't know the answer to that myself. Why had I stopped? I couldn't pretend anymore. I had to get out of here. I accelerated into the trees that tickled my left hand, leaving without an explanation. I had ignored the question in my brain for so long, but now I could hear it loud and clear. It was like a million bees buzzing, stinging me, making tears spill out my eyes. I had spent my life working for good, just as my mother would have wanted, but what if I wanted to be like my dad? A villain? I don't though. I don't know. Who am I?
