Lilia Smith is just 19 years old and has cancer. The cancer is stage four leukemia. She lost her hair and one of her lungs have dispersed. Lilia is a happy go lucky person and frankly, she doesn't care about it. Her friends left her when she discovered that she had leukemia. Except one.
She is madly in love with her best friend, but her best friend isn't into girls. Or is she? Lilia and her bestie go through tough times together but are always making it out on the end.

He stood behind her and she moved her hair out of the way as he put it around her neck and clipped it back together. Her hand immediately went to it. "I'm never gone take it off."
