She was in Europe working as an intern for the world’s most popular magazine. It was her dream job, a dream she never thought would come true. She worked hard and did what her boss asked so when the annual costume ball came of course her boss wanted her there. Pretty dresses, glamorous stars, and delicious food, the party of the year held at the centuries old DuPont Castle in France. It was the best night of her life.
But happen what happens when this girl gets a surprise the next morning. When she wakes up to find that things aren't the way they're supposed to be? What happens when instead of 2011 she wakes up in 1711, 300 years in the past?
What happens when a king who always gets what he wants, wants her. He wants the best of everything. Will she get home before she is forced into marrying the king or will life go up in flames when someone’s quest for revenge puts her in danger? In the end she will have to make a heart shattering decision.

It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed.
