A life long friend of Mark's finally decides to surprise him by coming out to California to visit. After so long apart they soon realize they have so much the have to catch up on. Will be how the other remembered them? Only their new time together can tell.

Opal Flores had known Mark and his family since she was young and she had easily been his best friend. Well until after high school when she went to college in Canada. They became pen pals for the years she was away and they tried to keep from growing apart.

Finally Opal moves back home around the time Mark is planning to move to California. They both tried to make the most of their time together and quickly rebonded their friendship and caught up

another year has passed before Opal even thought of going out to visit Mark. It wasn't even her idea, it was her friends Bob and Wade. She agreed and planned to surprise Mark only for her to get the surprise.
