I felt numb.
I was numb.
Numb to all the pain. To the mental abuse, numb to the harsh words, numb to the rumors. I was numb to it ALL.
I whole heartedly believed there was no way to escape this, this feeling, this numbness. I didn't want to to. It somehow gave me closure.
