Nayoko , Iszaya and Griffin lived a normal life in a small town in Michigan . Until one night when all adults go missing . The children of the town are forced to accept this and learn to live there lives without the things they would take for granted. They face meny struggles and soon learn what has occurred will they be able to live knowing what has happened , will they work together to bild a community or will they fall apart.

"What's your problem?" He asks darkly. "What's your problem?" I spit back. "Why do you keep following me?" He hisses. "I don't follow you!" I shout back. "Then how come where ever I go you end up going or being there?" He questions in a raised voice. "Its a coincidence." I say back in the same tone. He then moves forward towards me, and I take a step back but my back hits the brick wall. He puts his arms up his palms against the wall caging me in looking into my eyes. I won't look at him though, I look to the ground scared. "Just leave me alone...stay away." He whispers in my ear before he walks away to his car with his head down. -- When Dylan accidentally bumps into Mason in school things change. Dylan isn't scared away from him, or the rumors about him. She wonders about him, and what is up with him. When Mason decides Dylan needs to stay away from him he can't seem to keep it that way. He has a weird need to protect her... From everything. Which means finding out about her past... Will he soften up around her, or keep is bad boy dangerous ways? In the 1930s, in a highschool called Ashford Academy. A journalist by the name Esther Charlene shares her experiences at the school. Esther was an interesting one. She always hated school, until sudden mysterious death's happened in the school. She never made a lot of friends, since she wasn't a fan of the friendship thing. Later on she befriends a girl named Heather Marlene. As Esther's friendship grows, what will it grow to? What is Heather Marlene to Esther? To continue, There was a girl whose nose never stopped bleeding. Rumors always filled the school, like a virus. Nobody knows who the girl really is. Esther calls her ' sakodo' but she was given the name slit-faced girl by the people who saw her. But those people that feared or saw her died the next day. Why do people die the same? How do people die? Most importantly, what killed them? One day the girl suddenly disappears. Nobody knows where. A few days after she disappeared, all that was left of her was forgotten. Nobody knew who she was. All traces of her were gone. What really happened to that girl? What was her name? Where did she disappear to? What was the girl's backstory? As the story unfolds. The truths are exposed. Nobody knows. Not even you. (Some chapters may be short so I apologize!
