Hinata has always had a love for making coffee. There was just something he enjoyed about being behind the shop counter and creating the bittersweet liquid that so many people depended on. Because of this, Hinata has always dreamed of becoming like one of the best coffee makers around, The Little Espresso.
So when he applies at the same shop the Little Espresso had previously worked for, he's practically shaking with preemptive excitement. But...some of the workers he meets there really put him off. Kageyama for example: a very intimidating, stone-faced guy with no sense of humor that tended to get high and mighty and all out demanding. Despite Hinata trying to avoid him like the plague, circumstances slowly start to bring them together, and they begin to reluctantly work as a functional duo; a shock to all the staff.
They enter the championships for the best coffee shop, and have to go up against many popular and skilled shops along the way; one being Aoba Josai. Will they win? Or will they face defeat? Will they even be able to handle all the ridiculousness that will ensue along the way?
