I sat there, still and as quiet as a mouse, eyes wide open as I stared into the dark shadows of the forest. Each tree branch seemed to be an old boney arm that reached out to me, trying to grab me with its twig like fingers and drag me back to god knows where. The shadows danced while the night creatures sung leaving the wind to create its howling music.

I wasn't scared, no, I was a horrific beast. Not afraid of anything. Always alert, always on the run and always hiding in the shadows. Hunting was something I had become good at, heck, I was an expert. My reflexes fast and always on point, and my skills almost to perfect to be true. I was who people thought of when they heard rogue.

My life was like in a little child's move, the kid had this favourite part and played it over and over again obsessed over the great film. The thing was, I felt like this was going to be replayed forever. Running, hiding, escaping. Running, hiding, escaping...

Little did I know that running, or sitting in a tree and staring was not what my future held. Like every child a kid had to grow up. As they grow cartoons are forgotten and the latest t.v shows are then their new favourites, leaving my movie to play on, no more rewinding.

"Who was your first kiss?" Ares asked very seriously and my face started reddening. "I. . . haven't been kissed. Yet." I looked away as I didn't have the courage to meet his eyes and admit this. "Why not?" Why was he asking me this? "You obviously know why. I'm average, I'm just a normal girl." I was interrupted by an impatient scoff. "That's not why." "Fine, you tell me why." I retorted but instantly regretted it. He was going to tell me that I wasn't pretty enough or that I wasn't interesting enough or that I- "You were waiting." *** Highest Ranking: #2 in Werewolf "My jaw is on the floor!!!
