Disgruntled, I quietly asked, "Did you come from the future or not?"
"'Come from the future?'" 11th grader Luke Huang repeated, but it sounded more like a question than a statement.
"Yeah," I said like it was the most obvious thing. "You know, Griffon Performing Arts, the preparations for the performance, then the black out?" Luke had a blank face on. "Does any of this ring a bell?" Luke's expression didn't change. "You've got to be kidding me! I can't be stuck in the past with just Wyatt! And we don't even know if Jessica's here or not!" No, no, no, Angelina, stay calm... You and Wyatt will find a way back to the present (well future?), don't worry about it. Maybe, if I keep telling myself, I'll believe it.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away.
