Can I move forward?....

since i can remember I've been a head case. seeing things and hearing other things. it confuses me almost everyday. some days i just except the sights and sounds as part of life. my mother used to say that i should have been named Heather, Heather the head case, but my dad decided that Laura was a nicer name. my dad isn't around anymore, he suffered a heart attack 12 years ago, i was 6 years old then, and there to see it all. my mother blames me, even though doctors said it was just in his genetics. but now its just her and me. just trying to get by...that is if you call how we live, getting by.
