"What are you doing?" His grey eyes snapped open and looked at my dark brown ones. "What does it look like? I'm playing the piano." I look at his wrist to see a piano tattoo. "How unusual," I mumbled. He smiles with his eyes closed fingers playing, "Indeed." . . . Evangeline Lennox is a girl who is book smart, mostly does the right thing, and is adventurous enough to never get hurt in the most mild way physically, emotionally, and mentally. She also has a past that's been messing her up, making her the cautious fairly lonely person she is now. For the last 10 years she's struggled to deal with it but it's not easy when it's a constant reminder from her family every time she visits. Now in her senior year at Bridgemont High School, she stumbles on the most unlikely person and forms an oddly enchanting friendship that teaches her how to deal with her problems. Maybe along the way there's a little something else as well as trying to fight her inner demons.

He's worn down and broken, but under the layers he's swathed himself in since the death of his mother, there is a lively, loving person. Genuine, attractive, and kind, he's Eva's first outside friend. He can take her away and they can both escape. Anyone can go just about anywhere with a stolen 15 grand in their backpack. Follow Eva and Logan on a 12 destination trip across the country and find out if their friendship blooms into something more.
