If lives were represented by roads, then Zayne's would be a one way, long road riding straight through a desert, with no signs of life other than a cactus or two( maybe a couple rattlesnakes, idk). But Zayne has lived on this long, boring road his entire life. Being a part of the highschool "douche-squad" has most certainly blended his days together into a sort of messy, gross pulp, and he stands by in passing as his friends harass and annoy just about everybody in the school who either doesn't fit in, or belongs to the dreaded LGBT+ group. That is, until a sudden change of events leads him directly into the piercing gaze of a new kid, with bright eyes and a crooked smile that fixates on Zayne like glue, and he suddenly finds that this boring, long road has become far too curvy and far too lively FAR too fast. There's not a straight thing about it now. (seriously, there is not a straight thing about this story, read at your own discretion.)
