Jason had a close friend before he was taken in by Bruce. One day, she just stops showing up. Isn't on the streets anymore. Like she's just vanished. And of course, since she was just a street kid, nobody paid any attention into it. Just another kid that went missing, killed or worse. This all happens shortly before he became Bruce Wayne's ward. Shortly before he had any means to actually look for her. And as Robin? He did look for her, looked for you. You were that girl. You were his friend. Following leads with Bruce that he had, that you might have gotten involved in some criminal activity. Looking into things like people who took children and sold them, underground fighting rings, everything he could get his hands on. But one day it just comes to him, in a news paper. So in front of his face, just mocking him.
Your name under an award, "Little Miss. Gotham.". And he does see you again, but not with much time left to his life to spend with you. Completely unaware. When he dies, there's grieving. But when he comes back? The new Robin isn't Tim Drake. Tim hasn't come yet, but instead it's someone else. It's you, his best friend.
