Skylar is Skyrim's saviour. She's defeated Alduin and now she's looking for something else to do to pass her time. That's when she came across Jorrvaskr, the home of the Companions. The type of work she does there lives up to her expectations enormously, but then she learns about a family secret...one that could threaten her position in Jorrvaskr and compromise the friendships she's made.

A man she's met a few times before. Farkas. She joins the group and they train her. Her destiny falls into place as her life is quickly changed as she falls for the werewolf named Farkas. I update frequently! The chapters start of slow but I promise they get better! Your role will be a more timid girl who is trained within the companions and that's where she opens up. Playing this as if it's a family, because this is the faction that most acts like it, aside from the brotherhood. Enjoy being the new whelp. Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

I'd played Skyrim so many times on other systems by then, I got the idea of 'what if the Dragonborn already knows what she's supposed to do?' A friend of mine edited and complied all of my stories of Krinna the Dragonborn into a cohesive story with a proper conclusion. So here it is. Krinna has been told in a prophesy that she is the Dragonborn who must save the world. Farkas thinks the Dragonborn is good company, but he only has eyes for a certain Housecarl. Vilkas finds the Dragonborn simply fascinating... Also, the cover is a screen shot from my actual game play.
