It's easy for someone to say they love you, but its still easy for them to sell you away to someone that messes with their heads. The monster that took over my pack, killed the old Alpha and then started to take mates left and right, even if they were already mated.
He set his sights on me five months ago and when I seen my chance, I ran for it and haven't stopped since. I'm running to keep my freedom and never to be trapped like the other women in my ex-pack. But I don't know how long I can keep my freedom, when the land I go to, the Alpha of the pack in the area finds me and comes find out, he's my mate. But I won't be marked so easily! I need to kill the monster that has messed with so many of the women in my pack.
The Alpha of this pack, that land I'm on though, he isn't to easy to brush away. Damn it! Maybe he can help me save my people?
