"Who do you think you are New Girl!" I eyed this girl up and down as she done the same to me. Her little minions behind her starring at me in anger. I rolled my eyes, everyone knows who I am, "Tessa Diantly. Top Cheerleader, top of the pops and the best of the bestest." I smirked. The crowd around us chuckled. The blonde went red in anger and took a step towards me, our noses practically touching, "Well Tessa" She spat, "I'm head Cheerleader, top of the pops and the best of the bestest around here. Why don't you go back to being a Beverly hill billy and stay there, because you don't run 'Academy High' I do." And with that she barged passed me with her minions knocking me over. "oofm" "You bitch" I yelled back at her, making the crowd look at me in horror. I stood up, "You ruined my new designer fendi skirt!" I squealed, patting down on my skirt. She gave me the finger and carried on walking down the hall. Riing!

But what she did not expect was to show up on the first day of school to all three of her friends now in relationships. Fighting for their attention, catching some new and confusing feelings for long-time frenemy James, and wading through the pressures of post-high-school plans all have Lara reeling. And to make matters worse, Lara's beautiful and untrustworthy cousin conveniently appears and wiggles her way right between her and James' budding relationship. Feeling like a third wheel in more ways than one, Lara must learn to accept that change is inevitable, love is complicated, and being the odd one out is sometimes where inner power is found.
