"You will not do this again." Batman said. Aqualad turned to look at the others and they all took the same stand. "Sorry, but we will." Aqualad said. "Aqualad, stand down." Aquaman said. "Apologies my king, but no." Aqualad said. Aquaman looked surprised. "We stopped a fire, investigated a lab Bats had suspicion on..."The Streak paused. "You don't mind me calling you bats right?" She asked. He looked at her sternly and she didn't care. "Saved the city from being destroyed, save the world from future destruction by their armies and saved..." She looked at superboy. "Superboy from a horrible fate." She said. "And we did it discreetly." She said. Batman raised his eyebrows as he looked around at the ruins. "Sort of." She completed. "Point is..." Aqualad said coming to her rescue. "We did good work, work you trained us to do. Together. On our own, we forged something powerful, important." Aqualad said.
"Batman we are ready to use what you taught us, or why teach us at all?" Robin asked. They all turned to look at their mentors.
"We'll be our own team, saving the world just like you do, helping the world just like you do. We'll be the budding..." Streak paused. "Young Justice, if you will." She grinned. "Dude, did you..." KF began as he looked at Streak. "Yeah, just came up with it." Streak grinned at him. "It's cool." KF said. "Yeah?" She asked and Batman cleared his throat and they looked at him and fell silent.
And that's how it all began...
So yeah, Streak from my previous book teams up with Aqualad, Kid Flash and Robin and they form a team separate from the Justice League to help people. This story is about the team, their missions and how they become more than just a team.

All the characters are from DC comics, except for Streak and Tempest (that bit is mine)
This is basically the comic book version.

"Hey!" Someone yelled, and we all stopped, turning to the voice which belonged to the girl I saw earlier, with the exception of Batman who took the opportunity to launch the nearest man to him across the bridge into the railing, where he slumped to the ground. The Joker was first surprised and then amused. "A new toy!" He squealed with delight. He walked closer towards her, having forgotten me giving me the opportunity to peel my right arm out, giving me a better angle to see and defend myself. While the Joker wasn't terrifying to look at, honestly, he was fairly unassuming, with the exception of the weapon and the deranged smile and look in his eye, but I had seen many people with a similar expression, he had a very off-putting aura around him. She seemed entirely unbothered as he lurked towards her. Then she did one of the stupidest things I have ever seen in my life. She climbed up the railing and jumped off, to the roaring, dark, cold water that was at least 20 feet below us. When the Young Justice team is introduced to a new member they are all somewhat uncertain of her, along with the Justice League. With powers unlike they've ever seen before and hailing from a different planet they are not sure what to think of her. She seems to be hiding something and Batman seems to know something about it. Persephone Jackson just wanted a brief hiatus to rest and recover after the Second Giant War. Of course that was never possible because the fates hated her. "All we have is a name." "And now we have a picture." Robin flipped pulled the image up and showed the team-a slightly blurry child but very much the girl who materialized before them earlier. "I think it's safe to say she's involved." "Well, now what?" Megan asked. "We dont know where she is or how to find her." "We could Google her." Conner suggested. "Don't be ridiculous. We'll only come up with social media accounts. It's useless." Robin said. Miss Martian ignored the black haired boy and looked up the name on Google.com . To say the least, they found more than just social media accounts. Articles upon articles on this girl having performed incredible feats- surviving kidnappings, gunfights, property destruction, evading the police, among other things. "I guess we'll start in Manhattan. That's apparently where she lived at the time of the earliest article." Artemis skimmed back through the first article on her phone. They had all taken to looking her up themselves since it was just that easy. "Sounds like a plan, but we shouldn't go quite yet. We need to be careful, so the League doesn't catch on." Robin said, to which they all nodded in agreement. They all retreated back into the mountain and went to either the Zeta tubes or their rooms, depending on where they resided. They had begun hunting for Persephone Jackson without the permission of the Justice League. --- A female Percy Jackson and Young Justice story. Roy Harper/Red Arrow is the romantic interest in this story and be warned that it will cover hard topics like drug abuse, alcohol abuse, addiction, smoking, death, ect.
