Skylar Sanders is a music prodigy. She excels in everything music related. A true music nerd. As section leader of batterie as well as center snare, Skylar can not let anything or anyone distract her during marching band season. She does a great job of this until Jace Anderson comes along. Jace is a big sports star. He's in football, basketball, and volleyball. He is dating the head cheerleader and he is very content with his life. He loves being the center of attention. So what happens when two people from two different worlds with big expectations meet and develop feelings for each other? Will they go back their separate ways and pretend they don't like each other? Or will they put aside what they are expected of and take a risk by being with each other?
